The family cultivates the vineyard Frick in Pfaffenheim from at least twelve generations. In 1970, the Domaine was converted to organic farming. The first applications of biodynamic began in 1981. Regular use of biodynamic preparations, joined to the respect of the rhythms and cosmic influences stimulates soil life and increases the resistance of plants to diseases and pests.

An optimal age and a limited return avoid the use of chaptalisation (enrichment must in sugar). After decanting the must ferment with their yeast. Wine production is characterized by one or two racking and a weak addition of sulfur, excluding all other additives and stabilizers and ends with a minimum filtration before bottling. Maturation takes place in oak barrels aged between eighty and one hundred and thirty years.
