The Vermouth Antica Torino was born from the idea of Vittorio Zoppi, which with its 25 years of experience in the field of spirits and with the collaboration of the Sagrantino wine producer Filippo Antonelli and Paola Rogai sommelier, processes a Vermouth again.

The Vermouth was invented in 1786 by Antonio Benedetto Carpano in Turin, who chose this name readapting the word Wermut, which in German means "wormwood" and which constitutes its distinguishing feature. The Antica Torino project was set up to respond to a request for some American clients of President Vittorio Zoppi, which with its 25 years of experience in the field of spirits, once back in Turin decided to draw up with the help of winemaker Sagrantino Filippo Antonelli and Paola Rogai Sommelier Vermouth again. After months of research the selection of raw materials and graphics to be proposed, in 2016 the Old Torino project was ready to be discovered by using the image of the Turin International exhibition of 1911 historian réclame. Already eligible for disciplining IGP, next exit, the Antica Torino Vermouth is made exclusively with natural ingredients, without synthetic components. After a soaking in alcohol of thirty days of thirteen herbs such as: gentian, Rhubarb, Aloe, Rosemary, vanilla, Ginger, thyme, Bay leaves, Cumin, grapefruit, Genepy, oregano and obviously the Absinthe, adds sugar, moscato wine and trebbiano.
