The Edinburgh Gin Distillery, located in the heart of the Scottish capital, was the first distillery to produce the first Scottish gin on the market; owned by the Spencerfield Group, a former producer of Pig's Nose, the company produces three types of Gin and this sample represents the newest in the house, launched on the market in 2010 as the original Scottish London Dry Gin. Colourless and crystalline, the nose wraps with sweet spicy notes of cinnamon and cloves, dark hints of black pepper and juniper and resinous notes of pine, all in a typical citrus background. A soft, round and well balanced taste between the freshness of the citrus fruits and the softness of the fruit, with numerous spicy references on the final, fresh and slightly spicy.
