The water used for the xellent Gin comes from the glacier of the Titlis, in the heart of Switzerland. The fermented mash of rye is distilled a first time in the small and traditional 500 litre copper crucible, until a first raw alcohol with 72% alcoholic strength is obtained. Distilled two more times up to an alcoholic strength of 96%, it is subjected to several months of rest and then gradually reduced with the water of the glacier of the Titlis, until it reaches the final alcoholic strength of 40%. Finally, herbs and berries are added to the product obtained and a final distillation is carried out.
