In THE GLASS: Delicate colour of salmon-pink rose petals. ON THE NOSE: An explosion of strawberry flavours. Rich expressive notes of fresh strawberries underlined with hints of concentrated strawberry jam. A bowl of ripe strawberries covered with a spoonful of stewed strawberries with a lovely freshness. ON THE PALATE: The palate is well structured with a perfect balance of freshness and roundness of fruit. It is dominated by voluptuous flavours of red fruit such as wild strawberries delivering a sweet, enveloping sensation. A beautifully accessible champagne when young, but on cellaring well it will keep or even intensify its beauty. FOOD MATCHES: With the last “vibrant” strawberries picked from the garden! Plump, juicy and sweet. Fruits suit it well due to their soft side, reflecting its youth. Foie gras for boldness and the quest for richness and sweetness around the base built on the wine’s strength. A partnership dominated by strength and tenderness. Serve: between 8° and 10° C Cellar: Up to 3 years. Cuvée made without malo-lactic fermentation To preserve the natural fruitiness of the wines, malo-lactic fermentation is carefully avoided

Product by: Gosset

In 1994, the house was sold to the Renaud-Cointreau group (family owned and also the owners of Cognac Frapin). Under the new management, Gosset succeeded in increasing its production to one million bottles in 2005. The house is now successfully headed by Jean-Pierre Cointreau and exports 65% of its production to more than 70 countries. In 2009, as he prepared to celebrate Gosset’s 425th birthday, Jean-Pierre Cointreau took the decision to buy new premises in Epernay: 2 hectares of parkland with buildings dating back to the 19th century, 1.7 km of cellars with a storage capacity of 2,5 million bottles and a cuverie of 26.000 hectoliters. This new domain is a the ideal home to the image and reputation of the House. Part of the production is still in Aÿ which remains Gosset’s registered office.
