Vinification & ageing: Since 1968, the House has been constantly developing the qualities of Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier through the know-how and wide experience of its Cellar Masters. The entire range of techniques, the maceration process, vinification and blending have been deployed to extract the colour and obtain the best just-picked berry-fruit aromas at every step. This is what guarantees the freshness and liveliness of the wine. After all, Laurent-Perrier can be credited with boldly developing a non-vintage Cuvée Rosé, and, as a result, it has to be perfect - every time. After bottling, it takes a minimum of four years to coax the 75cl bottles of Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier to perfection, and an additional two years for magnums. Composition: Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier is made using nearly a dozen crus, most of them grands crus. They mainly derive from the South and North parts of the Montagne de Reims - including the celebrated Côte de Bouzy - with a preference for crus from Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois, the south part of Tours-sur-Marne, Verzenay, Verzy and the north part of Mailly. Grape supplies are the guarantee of Cuvée Rosé's undeniable quality and consistency of style. To succeed with such exacting requirements, Laurent-Perrier relies on the privileged relationships it has built up with grape growers over many years. The quality of its supplies means Laurent-Perrier can be extremely selective. The best vines and the best crus are chosen so that, in each harvest, only grapes of the quality required to make such a rosé wine are selected. In parallel, special plots in the vineyards owned by Laurent-Perrier itself have been adapted for growing Pinot Noir grapes using special methods.

Laurent Perrier

Product by: Laurent Perrier

The Laurent-Perrier was founded in 1812 by Alphonse Perlot who settled in Tours-sur-Marne and begins producing the first house. In 1881 Alphonse Perlot leaves the Company as a legacy to his cellar master, Eugene Laurent, who manages the company with his wife, Mathilde Emilie Perrier. Hortense Laurent Eugenie inherits Laurent-Perrier after Mathilde in 1925. The period between the wars was very difficult and Eugenie sells the business to Marie Louise Lanson de Nonancourt. Bernard de Nonancourt guide the House since World War II and his independent spirit leaves the company an imprint of great creativity wine.
