Vigneron Salt came about the 20th century when wine from Bordeaux and salt were transported all over the world. Legend has it that one ship was caught in a storm and few barrels of red wine cracked open. The wine spilt out onto the deck and was soaked up by neighbouring bags of salt. Today, this Salt is made by local craftsmen. The taste feels sweet and delicate notes and pairs perfectly with cheese, foie gras and fish.
