Nomad represents a new frontier in the world of whisky. Is the first Outland Whiskey in the world. Most whiskies are aged in sherry barrels shipped to Scotland from Jerez. Nomad is the first whisky in the world to be aged directly in Gonzalez Byass cellars in Jerez de la Frontera in Spain, breaking the unwritten rules of whisky. A unique aging process started in Scotland and finished in Jerez which makes Nomad Outland Whisky a rarity. A premium Blended Whisky produced from a unique selection of over 30 different malt whisky and grain from regions of Speyside and Highland Scots, aged from 5 to 8 years. The resulting mixture is left to mature in sherry casks in Scotland for 3 years, before being transferred to Jerez where he will be aged for a minimum of 12 months in old Pedro Ximénez casks in the cellar of San Fernando Gonzalez Byass. Nomad Outland Whisky comes from the skilled hands of two Master Blender: Master Blender of Antonio Flores Gonzalez Byass in collaboration with award-winning world of Whisky guru, Richard Paterson, Master Blender at Whyte & Mackay. Bright, amber coloured, Nomad, shows a concentrated aroma with notes of malt, the unmistakable aromas and sweet Pedro Ximenez Sherry. The palate is soft and elegant with a slightly tangy then continue on soft notes of raisins and honey that anticipate a long and pleasant finish with hints of vanilla and dried fruit. An elegant whisky but equally complex and surprising.
