Vineyards: The grapes used in this wine are planted between 400 and 500 meters in the small  hamlet of Söll, above the village of Tramin. The soil is made up of clay and gravel, with a limestone layer from 20 - 100 cm and porphyry subsoil. Of particular note is that the vineyard does  not enjoy the winds from Lake Garda because it is planted in a small bowl formed by the  surrounding hills. In the case of Terminum, this shelter is advantageous in that it allows for the  development of noble rot – essential to the production of high-quality late-harvest wine. Yield: 19 hl / hectare Subzone: Söll near Tramin Winemaking: Harvest occurred at mid of December. After approximately twelve hours of  maceration, the grapes were gently pressed under a pressure of 1.8 bar. The wine was fermented and aged in French oak barrels. Tasting Notes: The particular characteristics of the year allowed for the development of noble  rot, creating an elegant dessert wine with golden hues and great intensity. It combines floral  and fruit notes with hints of honey and cinnamon, aromas and flavors that feel rich and sweet  but never cloying. Terminum is a unique wine of exceptional character. Food Pairing: Terminum is an excellent companion to desserts, dried fruit, strong cheese or  foie gras. Or savor a glass on its own, as a wine of meditation to be enjoyed with good company.
